Job summary

Unified Door & Hardware Group in New Jersey is seeking a dependable Warehouse Loader to join our operations team. You will load materials onto trucks, perform quality checks, and ensure accuracy and safety in all shipping activities.

The role requires a Highschool Diploma or equivalent, forklift certification, and strong organizational skills. You will contribute to a safe, efficient dock and help uphold our commitment to quality and service.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma, GED, or Trade School Certificate.
• Organization skills required.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loading outgoing materials onto trucks and performing quality checks.
• Inspect trucks for load security and safety compliance.
• Keep dock areas clean and organized to support safety and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and follow OSHA requirements.
• Assist with miscellaneous duties as assigned.

From load inspections to operational excellence, your work directly contributes to the smooth and safe flow of materials every day. Responsibilities and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Loading & Quality Control
  • Load outgoing materials onto trucks as assigned
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and condition of materials before shipping
• Inspection & Organization
  • Inspect trucks for load security and overall safety compliance
  • Keep dock areas clean and organize both inside and outside—to support safety and efficiency
• Safety
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
  • Follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environment
  • Use proper lifting techniques
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing
• Physical Requirements
  • Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation
  • Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying building materials weighing approximately 100 pounds, using proper lifting procedures; and occasionally pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying greater weights. Pushing and pulling carts loaded carts over various distances and surfaces. Some functions may be performed as a team
  • Additional physical requirements may be needed as duties are assigned

The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
