The candidate should have 3+ years of warehouse experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to safely lift up to 120 pounds. Expect a Monday–Friday 6:30 am–3:00 pm schedule with potential overtime during peak seasons.

JOB OPENING – Warehouse Associate (3+ Years Experience Required)-Walsh Door + Security is seeking a dependable, experienced Warehouse Associate to join our Kansas City team.This position plays a key role in receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment and customer pickups. We specialize in commercial doors, frames, hardware, cameras, and access control systems for projects throughout Iowa and the surrounding states. Walsh Door + Security is a growing company with 200+ employees and three locations – Des Moines, Iowa City and Kansas City.Job Description:

• Receive, inspect, and verify inbound material.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
• Accurately pick, stage, and ship orders.
• Operate equipment and handle material safety.
• Assist customers and contractors with material pickups.
• Unload and load material for shipments or deliveries by hand and/or equipment.
• Monday through Friday, 40-hours per week, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
• Hours can vary depending on workload and season. Overtime opportunities during peak seasons.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience with a stable work history.
• Strong attendance record and reliability.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating powered industrial trucks (certification preferred).
• Computer proficiency; inventory or ERP systems experience preferred.
• Must be able to safely lift and move large doors and door frames. This includes sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
• Ability to safely lift up to 120 pounds.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to complete tasks with limited supervision.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical lift test, drug screen, and background check.
• Must follow all company policies and procedures.
