Job summary

Frontmatec is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage receiving, inventory, shipping, and returns with a strong eye for accuracy and timeliness.

You will verify items against POs, operate standard warehouse equipment after training, and assist with packing, labeling, and documentation. A high school diploma and 1–2 years in warehousing are required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of warehouse receiving, inventory, and shipping experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Proven ability to complete full warehouse cycle (assess needs, plan work, communicate, coordinate).

Responsibilities

• Accurately support all receiving, inventory, shipping, and returns processes.
• Independently verify items against POs and Sales Orders using IDs and quantities.
• Use standard warehouse equipment (with training) to load/unload/stock items.
• Prepare pallets/crates for handling using common tools (with training).
• Enter shipments and generate labels/documentation required.
• Stock and cycle count according to group policy/procedure.
• Help maintain a clean warehouse environment.
• Arrange shipment and provide tracking information.
• Support spare parts sales and field service teams as requested.
• Carry spare parts and after-hours on-call in rotation.
• Assist with ongoing 5S initiatives.

Job Description

The incumbent is a Frontmatec Ambassador who is responsible for maintaining the warehouse shipping and receiving process and backing up and supporting the Warehouse Team. They work closely with several stakeholders in order to serve the customer with urgency and respect for Frontmatec's quality standards.

They work closely with several stakeholders in order to serve the customer with urgency and respect for Frontmatec's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately support all receiving, inventory, shipping, and returns processes - including but not limited to, receiving, double-checking, signing, counting, picking, packing, handling, etc.
• Independently identify and verify items from product descriptions, ID numbers, and quantities against POs and Sales Orders for shipping and receiving accuracy.
• Use standard warehouse equipment (with training) to load/unload/stock various size/shape items.
• Prepare wooden pallets and crates for handling using common tools (with training).
• Enter shipments and generate labels/documentation required.
• Stock and cycle count - according to group policy/procedure.
• Help maintain a clean warehouse.
• Arrange shipment, complete required documentation, and provide tracking information.
• Support the spare part sales and field service teams as requested.
• Carry the spare parts, and after-hours phone on nights and weekends, in rotation.
• Other duties as assigned by the team leader.
• Assist with ongoing 5S initiatives.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Good computer skills with working knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX would be a plus.

• Previous warehouse and inventory experience is required.
• Forklift training and working knowledge of hand tools are a plus
• Team player.
• 5S and Lean experience preferred

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalency required
• 1-2 years of warehouse receiving, inventory, pick/pack/shipping experience required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Proven ability to complete full warehouse cycle (assess needs, plan work, communicate, coordinate, investigate, and evaluate independently and accurately).

Working Conditions

• This job requires the ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and walk for most of the day.
• This job requires the ability to climb a ladder.
• This job requires the ability to lift 50 lbs.
• This job requires the ability to learn and operate hand tools and a forklift.
• This job requires occasional overtime and scheduled, rotating nights and weekend on-call hours.
