What Goes Around Comes Around LLC in Jersey City, NJ is seeking an entry-level Shipping Assistant to support the Shipping Team in Jersey City, NJ. You will learn order processing, packing, labeling, and warehouse routines while gaining insight into all areas of the company.

This role involves physically demanding tasks, independent judgment, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. You will handle boxes up to 50 lbs and assist with daily mail and carrier shipments.

Qualifications

• Must be able to exercise independent judgment and discretion.
• Must bring excitement to the work environment.
• Ability to lift boxes daily, some up to 50lbs
• Willingness to learn product and warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with prepping, packing and boxing orders – anywhere from 10 to 200+ pieces per order.
• Maintain an organized work space – break down boxes, removing trash from room, organize supplies, return rejected pieces to the Receiving Team
• Provide support to other departments in warehouse maintenance if needed
• Retrieve mail up to three times daily
• Handle and deliver outgoing mail/shipments to carriers upon arrival
• Create labels for all mail carriers (USPS, Fedex, UPS…)
• Provide final Quality Control for inventory while packing – notice damages, condition issues, missing pieces, etc….
• Help lift and move boxes in holding area for pending orders
• Compile supply order list
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
