Job summary

SIMOS is hiring full-time Warehouse Associates in Jacksonville, FL, to support our distribution operations. The role requires at least six months of recent warehouse experience and offers a starting pay of $16.50 per hour with weekly pay and benefits after 30 days.

Shifts are 1st shift, Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (or until work is complete). Duties include loading/unloading, sorting, scanning orders, and maintaining a safe, efficient workspace. Eligibility includes HS Diploma or GED.

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Stand for 10-12 hours
• Background check and drug test

Duties Include:

Loading and unloading shipments, moving and organizing products, sorting and scanning orders, and performing general warehouse duties.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / hour

Duties:

• Load and unload trucks manually.
• Lift products, shrink-wrap, and palletize in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, handle, and carry boxes up to 75 pounds
• Strong attention to details
• Ability to carry, stand, walk, lift, stoop, bend, push, and pull
• Stand on your feet for at least 10-12 hours, reach overhead, twist, turn, and squat throughout the shift
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace throughout your shift, effective communication skills, and teamwork

Position Requirements:

• Ability to lift parts weighing up to 70 lbs. without powered equipment assistance
• Visual capacity to clearly recognize, read, and understand standard operating procedures, signs, part number labels, and instructions
• Ability to see/hear and distinguish sounds and signs that alert, instruct, or notify one of danger, such as warning signs, horns, alarms, speech, and vehicular/pedestrian traffic
• Ability to coordinate maneuvering of varied bilateral hand and foot controls at a rapid pace
• Ability to utilize personal protective equipment which may include gloves, safety harnesses, and safety shoes
• Flexibility to work in either a hot or cold work environment
• Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old. Able to Lift 75 pounds., required education: HS Diploma or GED.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $16.50 - $16.50 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
