Job summary

Advanced Electrical & Motor Controls is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate intern to support our logistics operations in Irving, TX. This internship runs Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, and offers hands-on experience in receiving, inspecting, packing, labeling, and inventory tasks within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and are comfortable with detail-oriented tasks, basic computer use, and working in a safety-focused team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Electrical industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Pick and pack customer orders with high accuracy.
• Maintain organized and clean warehouse space to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in inventory management, including labeling, shelving, and tracking stock levels.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling, packaging, and coordinating with carriers.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and report any safety concerns promptly.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors on inventory and operational updates.
• Record and maintain accurate documentation of inventory transactions and shipment details.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintain organized and clean warehouse space to ensure a safe working environment

• Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling, packaging, and coordinating with carriers

Salary Range Information

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• 2-5 years warehouse experience preferred
