Job summary

Premier Packaging, a growing packaging solutions provider, is seeking a forklift operator to support corrugated manufacturing operations in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves moving materials, loading/unloading from trucks, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a fast-paced plant.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of forklift experience, be able to work 3:00 PM–11:00 PM with a $1.50 shift differential, and be prepared for bi-weekly pay. Forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Forklift operators must safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts.
• Experience with corrugated manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with moving and transporting materials within a facility.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to forklift operation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down and/or stand-up forklift to move, stack, and transport corrugated materials within the manufacturing facility.
• Load and unload corrugated materials from trucks and storage areas using the forklift.
• Transport materials to and from production areas, ensuring timely delivery.
• Assist in the organization and management of inventory within the facility.
• Conduct regular counts and checks to ensure accurate inventory levels.
• Collaborate with other forklift operators and team members to optimize workflow.
• Communicate effectively with production supervisors, warehouse staff, and other team members to coordinate material movements.
• Report any issues or delays that may impact production schedules.
