Job summary

Venturi Supply is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our Houston team. You will pick, pack, and ship materials accurately and safely, transport goods using forklifts and hand trucks, and support inventory tasks across our distribution network.

We value reliable, detail-oriented individuals who communicate well, work collaboratively, and can lift up to 50 lbs. A High School Diploma or GED and 1+ years in a warehouse are required, with MS Office 365 proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year warehouse or related experience.
• Computer literate; proficient with MS Office 365.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Team-oriented with ability to juggle priorities.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Background, MVR, and drug test clearable.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to designated areas using forklifts and dollies.
• Perform quality inspections on incoming/outgoing materials.
• Sort and stock materials on racks and shelves.
• Pick, pack, and ship materials and products.
• Process packages for shipping and returns.
• Conduct periodic inventory counts and restock as needed.

Role Overview

The Warehouse Associate picks, packs, and ships supplies and materials to internal and external customers in an accurate and timely manner; efficiently and safely transports, sorts, and stocks materials.

Responsibilities

• Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas using appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task including hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, pallet jack, and/or elevator.
• Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures.
• Picks, packs, and ships materials and products.
• Processes all packages for shipping; processes returned merchandise.
• Conducts physical inventory counts; replenishes stock from back-up locations as needed.
• Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
• Follow all safety guidelines.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Performs additional duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of warehouse or related experience in the same or similar industry.
• Computer literate; Proficient with MS Office 365.
• Ability to effectively communicate [written and verbal].
• Thrives in a collaborative team environment.
• Detailed oriented work style comfortable with multiple priorities being juggled while maintaining a consistent work approach.
• Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, lift to 50 lbs., carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling, enduring frequent exposure to outside weather conditions.
• Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test.
