National Oak Distributors (NOD) is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Houston. The role covers receiving, warehousing, and shipping activities, with emphasis on order picking, packing, labeling, and accurate inventory management using RF scanners.

The successful candidate will handle loading/unloading, cycle counts, and documentation, while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and collaborating with team members to meet shipping deadlines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying against purchase orders.
• Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper warehousing procedures.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently, adhering to shipping guidelines.
• Prepare shipments for dispatch, including packaging and labeling, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations.
• Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform cycle counting and inventory management tasks to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring the safe handling of goods.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including housekeeping duties.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and data entry.
