Fastenal is seeking a Part-time Warehouse Associate at our Honolulu branch (723 Umi St, Honolulu, HI 96819). You will handle inventory, receive/pick/pack ships, and may perform local deliveries with a company vehicle. Flexible scheduling may be available after onboarding and performance goals are met.

The role requires 18+ age, a valid driver’s license, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to lift 25–75 lbs. Drug screening may be required in the US.

Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm 10 - 28 hours/week

OVERVIEW

Embark on your journey as a Part-time Warehouse Associate, where you're at the heart of our operations. You'll not only handle the ebb and flow of products as they enter and leave the facility, but you'll dive into the world of inventory management for a leader in industrial distribution. This position is for our branch located at 723 Umi St, Honolulu, HI 96819. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing and maintaining branch inventory
• Receiving, picking, packaging, shipping, and cycle counting inventory
• Making local deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Demonstrate attention to detail and strong sense of urgency

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience receiving, shipping, sorting or managing inventory
