We are looking for an experienced full-time Warehouse Associate responsible for supporting warehouse activities that ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and regulatory compliance in the Food Bank's warehouse, including storage, distribution, and staging of food products, in both refrigerated and freezer environments. Responsibilities include maintaining warehouse equipment, general cleanliness, and equipment upkeep.

Job Accountabilities
- Support daily warehouse operations, including shipping, inventory, and food safety.
- Inspect equipment and report repairs.
- Dispose of waste and recycling.
- Pick orders, stretch wrap pallets, stage orders for delivery and agency pickups.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Manage frozen product flow, including cleanliness, rotation, inventory, and transfer to coolers and freezers.
- Assist in freezer and cooler area functions.
- Ensure accurate order pulling and receipt of frozen products.
- Assist in physical inventories.
- Maintain professional relationships with donors, agencies, volunteers, and coworkers.
- Perform other duties as required.

- In emergencies, employees may be called upon to perform additional duties as essential service providers.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years' warehouse experience.
- Warehouse equipment certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Passion for CPFB's mission and values.
- Ability to work with diverse populations.
- Proficient with warehouse management systems; experience with Primarius 2 is a plus.
- Knowledge of core warehouse operations and food safety standards.
- Experience with material handling equipment and safe operation practices.
- Excellent customer service, professionalism, confidentiality, and initiative.
- High energy, dependable, and team-oriented.
- Ability to attend meetings and stay informed of organizational updates.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Physical Requirements and Licenses
- Valid driver's license with good driving record.
- Willingness to obtain forklift and pallet jack certification.
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds routinely, and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in cold/humid environments.
- Work may include outside conditions and exposure to mechanical parts and noise.
Position Demand Profile
Physical demands vary, including standing, walking, lifting, and operating equipment for up to 8 hours per shift, with specific weight lifting requirements.
