Job summary

Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for a Warehouse Associate position in Hammond, LA. This is a great opportunity to further your existing skills as a Warehouse Associate while learning new ones to assist you in your career.

Responsibilities include shipping/receiving, packing, inventory, and light assembly. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to lift 50 lbs regularly. Pay starts at $18.00–$18.50 per hour with benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Regular heavy lifting of 50 lbs.

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing orders to sales associates for processing.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped.
• Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed.

This role is being recruited for by one of our Centralized Delivery Team and not your local Branch.
