Job summary

Adecco is assisting a local customer in Hammond, LA to fill Warehouse Associate positions. This role offers a 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift, Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. The position includes access to Adecco’s Aspire Academy and other perks.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trailers, using handheld scanners, and accurate order fulfillment. Candidates must be able to lift at least 75 pounds and work varying shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience loading and unloading trailers.
• Proficiency with handheld scanners is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing orders to sales associates for processing
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in English is a requirement for safety compliance and to perform key job functions, including customer communication, documentation, and coordination with internal teams
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped

Requirements:

• Experience loading and unloading trailers
• Experience using handheld scanners
• Must be able to lift, push or pull at least 75 pounds
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends, due to varying freight volumes

This role is being recruited for by one of our Centralized Delivery Team and not your local Branch.

Pay Details:

$18.00 per hour
