Sunbelt Natural Foods Distributors in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to support receiving, order picking, inventory, and loading duties. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle receiving, stocking, and documentation while maintaining clean, organized, and compliant warehouse operations. Prior warehouse exposure is helpful, with forklift/forklift-ops experience considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Team-oriented, dependable, punctual, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Load delivery vehicles and secure products.
• Receive shipments and verify product, quantity, and condition.
• Stock and rotate products using FIFO procedures.
• Check expiration dates and assist with inventory counts.
• Identify discrepancies, damages, or losses; maintain records.
• Follow safety, food safety, and warehouse procedures.
• Collaborate with team members, drivers, and office staff.

Sunbelt Natural Foods Distributors is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team in Hagerstown, Maryland

In this hands-on role, you'll help keep our warehouse running smoothly by receiving products, preparing customer orders, maintaining inventory, loading delivery vehicles, and ensuring products are handled safely and accurately.

What You'll Do

As a Warehouse Associate, your responsibilities will include:

• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Load delivery vehicles and ensure products are properly secured.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify product, quantity, and condition.
• Stock and rotate products using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
• Check expiration dates and assist with physical inventory counts.
• Help identify inventory discrepancies, damages, or product losses.
• Complete and maintain warehouse records, including temperature and maintenance logs.
• Process and work with documents such as sales orders, invoices, purchase orders, and bills of lading.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
• Follow company safety, food safety, and warehouse procedures.
• Work cooperatively with warehouse team members, drivers, office staff, and management.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving, or similar experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to use a pallet jack.
• Forklift Operator Certification is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements

This is an active warehouse position. Employees must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly bend, reach, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and perform other physical activities associated with warehouse work.

Employees must be able to safely lift, carry, push, pull, or guide up to 50 pounds individually.
