Job summary

TBC Corporation is hiring a Distribution Center Associate in Greer, SC to perform warehouse duties and support efficient order fulfillment. You will operate material handling equipment, use RF scanning to receive and locate inventory, and help maintain an organized warehouse environment.

Starting pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour based on experience, with benefits and opportunities for growth within a large automotive tire wholesaling network.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners preferred.
• Safety‑first mentality is required.
• Prior distribution center experience preferred.
• Prior material handling equipment experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Operate MHE (Material Handling Equipment) safely and efficiently.
• Develop knowledge of products handled in the DC.
• Unload and put away product using RF technology.
• Inspect inbound for overages and shortages.
• Pick and stage product for shipments.
• Load trucks and maintain organized warehouse.
• Assist in optimizing operations and customer service.
• Participate in cycle counts or physical inventories.
• Maintain clean work area and assist with sanitation.
• Complete MHE reports per policy and OSHA rules.

Our DC Associate will perform operational activities within Distribution Center warehouse to achieve efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders, and efficient and accurate receipt of delivery of replenishment product.

Responsibilities

• Operate various MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in a safe and efficient manner.
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products.
• Unload and put-away product utilizing RF (radio frequency) technology
• Inspect inbound for OSD (overages and shortages)
• Pick and stage product
• Load truck(s)
• Maintain organization of product in the warehouse.
• Assist center to optimize operations and customer service to achieve business plan and DC profitability.
• Participate in cycle count or physical inventory process as required
• Maintain a clean work area and assist in the overall sanitation of the DC.
• Complete MHE reports as required by company policy and OSHA regulations
• Perform any other tasks as defined by Supervisor or Center Manager
• Abide by all Federal, State, and Local laws
• Other duties as assigned or requested
