Job summary

TBC Corporation in Portland, OR is seeking a Warehouse Distribution Center Associate to support efficient order fulfillment and receipt of replenishment products. You will operate MHE and RF technology to ensure accurate picking, staging and loading while maintaining inventory controls.

This full-time role requires 18+ years old, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift substantial weights. Starting pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour, with a strong benefits package and room for growth.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively while bending and twisting and ability to occasionally lift more than 50lbs.
• Employment is contingent upon a conditional offer and completion of all required pre-employment screenings, as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Operate various MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in a safe and efficient manner.
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products.
• Unload and put-away product utilizing RF (radio frequency) technology.
• Inspect inbound for OSD (overages and shortages).
• Pick and stage product.
• Load truck(s).
• Maintain organization of product in the warehouse.
• Assist center to optimize operations and customer service to achieve business plan and DC profitability.
• Participate in cycle count or physical inventory process as required.
• Maintain a clean work area and assist in the overall sanitation of the DC.
• Complete MHE reports as required by company policy and OSHA regulations.
• Perform any other tasks as defined by Supervisor or Center Manager.
• Abide by all Federal, State, and Local laws.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.
