Job summary

Jobtailor in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, process, label, and store stock while maintaining accurate records and preparing orders for shipment.

You will operate pallet jacks and other stock management tools, count stock, and ensure safety regulations are followed. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and flexibility to work various shifts and overtime.

Job Responsibilities

• Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock.
• Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock.
• Scanning items into the warehouse management system.
• Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages.
• Organizing the warehouse space.
• Preparing orders for shipment.
• Picking orders for shipment.
• Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments.
• Operating stock management tools such as powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks.
• Counting stock and keeping inventory records.
• Routine cleaning duties.
• Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized.
• Maintaining safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
• Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach.
• Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/or stairs) or balance.
• Attention to detail.
