Leister Technologies LLC is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to handle shipping, receiving, and returns, ensuring accurate record-keeping for domestic and international transactions. The role collaborates with warehouse staff, trucking companies, and order entry teams.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of warehouse experience, forklift ability, and proficiency with SAP. You will lift up to 80 pounds and contribute to safe, efficient warehouse operations at our Illinois facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization and shipping.
• Keep warehouse equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, calling for repairs.
• Keep demo equipment available for use by inspecting and testing before sending out, completing preventative maintenance upon return.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• Assist in monitoring inventory weekly and monthly by cycle-counting.
• Pick items and prepare finished goods and service parts for fulfillment to Leister customers, both dealers and consumer direct ship orders.
• Prepare outbound shipments to ship safely and without damage and follows cargo securement procedures.
• Perform and understand internal quality assurance verification procedures to assure customer service, inventory accuracy, mitigation of product damage and general product quality.

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The incumbent will be responsible for both shipping and receiving of components including initial shipping and any returns or replacements, and record keeping for domestic and international transactions. The position works closely with other warehouse personnel, trucking companies and order entry staff.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization and shipping. Continually evaluate warehouse design by planning product flow, layout, and product handling systems.
• Keep warehouse equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, calling for repairs.
• Keep demo equipment available for use by inspecting and testing before sending out, completing preventative maintenance upon return.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.

Minimum Requirements

• Previous warehouse, freight handling and/or forklift experience 3+ years preferred
• Previous experience with warehouse related handheld scanning devices and computer programs (SAP preferred)
• Lift and/or move up to 80 pounds and ability to shelve, store and stand for extended periods
• Must be at least 18 years of age
