Position: Warehouse Associate (Full-Time and Part-Time positions available)

Overview

As a warehouse associate at Floor & Decor, you are the backbone of our retail location. Your key responsibilities include compiling orders, replenishing and moving merchandise, whether on the sales floor or to a customer’s vehicle. Your day will involve checking inventory and orders, interacting with customers, and operating a forklift. Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and understand compliance with the company’s safety processes.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
• Provide above-and-beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Restock the show floor with product and organize merchandise to company standards for easy shopping.
• Load out customers with the correct product and assist in locating items; answer customer questions.
• Be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed.
• Keep work area clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Warehouse experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with heavy machinery, forklifts, or farm equipment preferred but not required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Completion of forklift certifications through Floor & Decor.
• Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires successful passing of a drug test.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles; noise level ranges from quiet to moderate.
• Ability to exert 30–60 pounds of force occasionally and 20–30 pounds frequently; ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects as required.
• Physical tasks include standing, walking, reaching, climbing or balancing, and kneeling or crouching as needed.

Pay Range

$17.50 – $21.30
