Job summary

A leading home improvement retailer in Mooresville is seeking a Warehouse Associate. You will compile orders, assist customers, and operate a forklift in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates are organized, friendly, and possess warehouse experience. Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Warehouse experience is preferred.
• Completion of forklift certifications through F&D.
• Experience with heavy machinery, forklifts, or farm equipment preferred but not required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Completion of forklift certifications through F&D.
• Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires successful passing of a drug test.

As a warehouse associate at Floor & Decor, you are the backbone of our retail location. Your key responsibilities will include compiling orders, replenishing and moving merchandise on the sales floor or to a customer’s vehicle, checking inventory and orders, interacting with customers, and operating a forklift. Working Conditions

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level is typically quiet to moderate.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

• Ability to exert 30–60 pounds of force occasionally, and 20–30 pounds frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers; ability to stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
