On-the-Job Training

Knowledge

• General warehouse operations
• Knowledge of the equipment and function of Powered Industrial Trucks for product relocation and safety inspection

Physical Demands

• Lift or move 100 pounds or more
• Sitting frequently

• Usage of hands and fingers
• Reaching with hands and arms
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling occasionally
• Sight is required to ensure safety

Essential Responsibilities

• Load and unload product from delivery trucks and vendor shipments
• Stage deliveries
• Store all product in designated locations
• Ensure inventory is dated and rotated per schedule
• Inspect products for defects and damages upon receipt or shipping
• Obtain appropriate signatures on paperwork
• Assist in customer pickups, providing excellent service
• Participate in inbound and outbound quality assurance processes
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment
• Maintain grounds and cleanliness of the warehouse and surrounding areas
• Ensure safety policies are followed
• Communicate professionally with all contacts
• Follow company policies and standards
• Report concerns to leadership

Professional Experience

• 1+ years of general work experience preferred
