Job summary

Plumbers Supply Co in Franklin, IN is seeking a warehouse associate to accurately pick and prepare orders. You will use an RF Scanner, read customer orders, and retrieve items from warehouse racks while updating the ERP system after each pick.

You\'ll deliver products using a pickup truck and trailer, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts. This role requires strong reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn in a non-climate controlled

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING

• Accurately picking products using an RF Scanner, ensuring order accuracy.
• Reading customer orders and retrieving items from warehouse racks using barcodes and serial numbers.
• Updating inventory in ERP system after each item is picked.
• Delivering product using pickup truck and trailer
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment for all stakeholders.
• Operating heavy equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks,forklifts, etc.

OUR MUST HAVES

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
• Customer service focus with strong communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and reliability.
• Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated to learn and grow within the role.
• Stamina to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally more with or without accommodation.
• Physical ability to perform various warehouse tasks including bending, stooping, kneeling, etc.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
