Job summary

Plumbers Supply Co is seeking a warehouse associate at our Franklin Branch to accurately pick and prepare orders in a fast-paced setting. You will read customer orders, retrieve items from warehouse racks, and update inventory in the ERP system after each pick.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of warehouse experience, a strong customer service orientation, and are comfortable operating RF scanners and basic warehouse equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Customer service focus with strong communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and reliability.
• Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated to learn and grow within the role.
• Stamina to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally more with or without accommodation.
• Physical ability to perform various warehouse tasks including bending, stooping, kneeling, etc.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking products using an RF Scanner, ensuring order accuracy.
• Reading customer orders and retrieving items from warehouse racks using barcodes and serial numbers.
• Updating inventory in ERP system after each item is picked.
• Delivering product using pickup truck and trailer
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment for all stakeholders.
• Operating heavy equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks,forklifts, etc.
