Mid-Atlantic Roofing Supply in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving documentation. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork.

You will operate forklifts and other handling equipment, assist with intake and staging of materials, and comply with safety procedures. The ideal candidate has 1+ year warehouse experience and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

About this position

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for general warehouse responsibilities to include inventory control, loss prevention, as well as shipping and receiving documentation. Must be detail-oriented, efficient, and have a clean driving record.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the rotation of inventory within the warehouse by preparing shipments, stage and verify incoming material, and use powered industrial equipment (forklift, hand-crane, pallet jack, shrink wrap machine, etc.)
• Load and unload goods to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles in an organized and efficient manner
• Notify managers of any major maintenance issues encountered
• Properly use Timekeeping App to ensure appropriate and accurate time-management
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding and compliance with the company's safe lifting practices and standard operating procedures
• Ensure that all safety procedures remain a priority by maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Obtain and maintain forklift certification

REQUIREMENTS
