Job summary

Singer Equipment Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage all warehouse functions, including receiving, storing, picking, assembling for delivery, and ensuring safety and orderly operations.

You will use our computer system to receive, inventory, and ship equipment, communicate with internal teams, operate forklift and pallet jack, and support ongoing logistics with attention to detail and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent plus 2–4 years of experience.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Customer service orientation and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect deliveries.
• Receive, inventory, and ship equipment using a computer system.
• Communicate with other departments via email/Teams/phone.
• Pick equipment from warehouse and assemble for delivery to sites.
• Follow warehouse safety regulations.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack as needed.
• Handle moderately complex issues and refer more complex ones to higher-level staff.

Job description

OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for all warehouse functions including but not limited to receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Receiving & Inspection of all deliveries
• Use computer/internet based system to accurately receive, inventory & ship equipment
• Communicate via email/teams/phone (if required) with other departments inside Singer Kittredge
• Responsible for accurately picking equipment from warehouse based on provided documentation and assembling/building correctly for delivery to construction sites.
• Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.
• Operates warehouse equipment as needed to complete tasks. (forklift & pallet jack)
• Performs work under general supervision.
• Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent Experience: 2-4 years of experience

• Experience in transportation, logistics, supply career fields are a bonus
