Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our logistics team. You will help receive, store, pick, pack, and ship materials, ensuring accuracy and safety while supporting customer orders for pickup or delivery.

You will work with warehouse, shipping, receiving, and customer service teams, use scanners and inventory systems, and help maintain organized inventory while following safety procedures. This role is on-site at our Portage, MI facility.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret orders, work orders, shipping documents, requisitions, and picking tickets to determine the materials and products needed.
• Accurately pick, pull, pack, stage, and ship customer orders according to established procedures.
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities, product information, and documentation.
• Move materials and products between receiving, storage, picking, staging, and shipping areas.
• Organize and store inventory on racks, shelves, bins, pallets, and designated storage locations based on product type, size, style, product code, or other established systems.
• Use scanners, warehouse technology, inventory systems, and other tools to accurately track material movement and customer orders.
• Mark, label, and identify materials using the appropriate methods.
• Open and process bales, crates, boxes, containers, and other incoming shipments.
• Record quantities and information for materials received and complete required warehouse, receiving, shipping, and inventory documentation.
• Prepare customer orders for pickup and delivery, ensuring orders are accurate, properly packaged, and ready when needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory organization and help ensure materials can be located quickly and efficiently.
• Operate company equipment, including forklifts and other material-handling equipment, safely and responsibly.
• Maintain clean, organized, accessible, and safe warehouse areas.
• Properly care for company equipment and help protect company property, inventory, tools, and other assets.
• Follow all company health, safety, environmental, warehouse, and material-handling procedures.
• Support other warehouse and operational activities as needed.

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play an important role in keeping our warehouse organized, accurate, safe, and operating efficiently. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, scanning, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products throughout the facility.

Physical Requirements
