Job summary

Depatie Fluid Power Company is seeking a Warehouse Associate to keep the facility organized, accurate, and safe. You will receive, store, pick, pack, scan, and distribute materials, tools, and products while collaborating with warehouse, shipping, receiving, and customer service teams.

Responsibilities include interpreting orders, pulling and shipping orders, receiving materials, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Forklift experience is preferred and attention to detail is essential.

Description

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play an important role in keeping our warehouse organized, accurate, safe, and operating efficiently. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, scanning, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products throughout the facility.

You will work closely with our warehouse, shipping, receiving, and customer service teams to make sure the right products are available and customer orders are accurately prepared for pickup or delivery.

What You Will Accomplish

• Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping documents, requisitions, and picking tickets to determine the materials and products needed.
• Accurately pick, pull, pack, stage, and ship customer orders according to established procedures.
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities, product information, and documentation.
• Move materials and products between receiving, storage, picking, staging, and shipping areas.
• Organize and store inventory on racks, shelves, bins, pallets, and designated storage locations based on product type, size, style, product code, or other established systems.
• Use scanners, warehouse technology, inventory systems, and other tools to accurately track material movement and customer orders.
• Mark, label, and identify materials using the appropriate methods.
• Open and process bales, crates, boxes, containers, and other incoming shipments.
• Record quantities and information for materials received and complete required warehouse, receiving, shipping, and inventory documentation.
• Prepare customer orders for pickup and delivery, ensuring orders are accurate, properly packaged, and ready when needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory organization and help ensure materials can be located quickly and efficiently.
• Operate company equipment, including forklifts and other material-handling equipment, safely and responsibly.
• Maintain clean, organized, accessible, and safe warehouse areas.
• Properly care for company equipment and help protect company property, inventory, tools, and other assets.
• Follow all company health, safety, environmental, warehouse, and material-handling procedures.
• Support other warehouse and operational activities as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Standing and walking for extended periods of time

• Working in an active warehouse environment around inventory, equipment, forklifts, and other material-handling activities
