Job summary

Valley Staffing in Dublin, VA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join a small, energetic team. The role involves loading and unloading heavy furniture using a hand dolly, moving items between trailers and warehouse areas, and completing paperwork accurately.

You will work Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a physically demanding schedule requiring heavy lifting (75–80 pounds) and lots of walking. Safety, teamwork and reliable communication with the supervisor are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with manual loading/unloading using a hand dolly.
• Ability to follow safety protocols in a warehouse environment.
• Accurate and legible paperwork following supervisor instructions.

Responsibilities

Job description

Shift: 6AM-3:30PM Monday-Thursday

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Job Duties:

Furniture Warehouse Distribution. Using hand dolly manually loading & unloading heavy furniture in trucks and other home goods in Warehouse. Working in small teams of 3-4, In a safe manner, move from trailers/containers or locations within the warehouse.

There are 100 dock doors. 80 of those dock doors are assigned to a city that the truck will be delivering to.

Day shift loads items from within the warehouse to the docks and picking orders.

Maintain accurate and legible paperwork that has been checked

Communicate any issues or needs regarding warehouse operations to supervisor.

Organize and clean the warehouse area. May perform other duties, special or non-routine assignments as instructed.

Maintain safe and clean working environment.

Physical Requirements: Heavy lifting, 75-80 pounds. Handcarts and dollies will be used for assistance. Lots of walking is required (between 15-20 miles per shift)
