Based out of Derry, New Hampshire with branches in Nashua and Manchester, we carry a large selection of equipment for split systems, mini-splits, and light commercial as well as parts, round and square duct work, filters, and general supplies. Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate will perform general warehouse duties. This includes picking and staging inventory to fulfill orders, unloading inventory from delivery trucks, and providing prompt counter service to customers.

This Warehouse position is conveniently located at our Derry, NH branch at 1 B St, Derry, NH 03038.

Responsibilities

Warehouse

• Responsible for general warehouse work as directed, including working in any and all departments within the warehouse relating to freight either incoming or outgoing.
• Accurately fills sales orders or transfers for product and distributes items to shipping or will call.
• Ensures the warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and customer traffic.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of their work area.
• Safely operates warehouse tools and equipment.

Inventory Control

• Accurately marks product or orders with identifying information using appropriate methods.
• Adequately assists in counting of physical inventory.
• Responsible for accuracy and efficiency in the handling of merchandise.
• Responsible for properly following procedures relating to checking and double-checking merchandise and the proper reporting of errors.
• Responsible for properly inspecting all products handled for damage and notifying a supervisor in the event damaged product is found.
• Responsible for promptly reporting inventory discrepancies.
• Responsible for promptly reporting location discrepancies.

Safety

• Utilizes safe work processes and compliance with company safety procedures including but not limited to compressed gas tank handling, and two-man lift procedures.
• When loading vehicles, responsible for securing all products in the vehicle properly to prevent shifting or damage to product.
• Responsible for wearing proper safety gear and equipment.
• Conducts proper operations and safety inspections on material handling equipment.
• Performs work duties in a safe manner and adheres to company safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Promptly corrects and reports unsafe conditions.
• Promptly reports injuries, accidents, and incidents, and correctly completes proper paperwork in reporting.

General

• Responsible to act in accordance with the policies and procedures set forth in the employee handbook, operations manuals, safety handbook, and all other manuals relative to the warehouse.
• Performs facility and vehicle maintenance duties as directed.

Other

• Maintains proficiency with company computer systems in aspects related to job, such as data entry, messaging, call logs, data notations, queue updates, batching, or other job & office functions and requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or its GED equivalent
• 1 or more years’ experience with warehousing and related functions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis.
• Ability to use computers, photocopiers, scanners, phone systems and meeting and virtual platform sharing relative to the needs of the job.

Physical Requirements

• 7-10 hours worked per day; up to 38-45 hours worked per week
• Climbing ladders or stairs 1-3 hours per day
• Climbing on and off fork trucks 1-3 hours per day
