Job summary

The Tile Shop in Denver is seeking a warehouse associate to read orders, assemble shipments, and stock inventory for customer orders. You will operate forklifts, label items, and ensure accurate paperwork and shipment readiness in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and keeping the warehouse organized, while collaborating with team members to deliver excellent service. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and work Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Strong work ethic and reliable.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills required.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and safe work practices.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to work Saturdays on a 5-day schedule.

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to assemble orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Complete paperwork related to inventory including ship confirmations, receiving confirmations, PO, open orders, and UPS.
• Maintain accuracy of store inventory at all times.
• Label orders and back stock clearly.
• Participate in cycle counting program.
• Load/unload customer vehicles and ensure proper paperwork is signed.
• Process incoming freight promptly.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts safely.
• Inspect equipment and maintain good working order.
• Record amounts of product received and distributed.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized.
• Enter records into computer.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Read customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to assemble customer orders from stock and place order on pallet or shelves.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Complete all paperwork pertaining to inventory, which includes shipping confirmations, receiving confirmations, purchase orders, open orders, order check-off, and UPS.
• Ensure complete accuracy of store inventory at all times.
• Label all orders and back stock clearly.
• Participate in the cycle counting program.
• Load and unload customer vehicles; ensure proper paperwork is completed and signed off by the customer after loading of product.
• Process incoming freight trucks in a timely manner.
• Proper use of equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, to move inventory.
• Inspect equipment to maintain good working order.
• Record amounts of product received and distributed.
• Accountable for overall cleanliness/organization of the warehouse.
• Enter records into computer.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
