Job summary

The Tile Shop is seeking a warehouse associate to pick and pack customer orders, sort and label stock, and maintain accurate inventory. You will work with team members to process shipments, load/unload vehicles, and ensure orderly back stock and clean warehouse conditions.

Responsibilities include using forklifts, recording stock movements, and completing required paperwork. Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic math/computer skills, and the ability to lift 50–100 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic math and computer literacy required.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs regularly.
• Ability to work Saturdays on a 5-day schedule.

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders and assemble orders from stock.
• Sort materials by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Complete inventory paperwork: shipping/receiving confirmations, POs, orders.
• Ensure store inventory accuracy at all times.
• Label orders and back stock clearly.
• Participate in cycle counting program.
• Load/unload customer vehicles and obtain signed paperwork.
• Process incoming freight in a timely manner.
• Operate equipment including forklifts to move inventory.
• Inspect equipment and maintain good working order.
• Record product received and distributed quantities.
• Maintain cleanliness/organization of warehouse.
• Enter records into computer system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Read customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to assemble customer orders from stock and place order on pallet or shelves.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Complete all paperwork pertaining to inventory, which includes shipping confirmations, receiving confirmations, purchase orders, open orders, order check-off, and UPS.
• Ensure complete accuracy of store inventory at all times.
• Label all orders and back stock clearly.
• Participate in the cycle counting program.
• Load and unload customer vehicles; ensure proper paperwork is completed and signed off by the customer after loading of product.
• Process incoming freight trucks in a timely manner.
• Proper use of equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, to move inventory.
• Inspect equipment to maintain good working order.
• Record amounts of product received and distributed.
• Accountable for overall cleanliness/organization of the warehouse.
• Enter records into computer.
• Other duties as assigned.
