Position Summary
Placon is a leading thermoformed packaging company with over 50 years of innovation, sustainability, and excellence in the manufacturing space. As a Warehouse Associate, you'll play a vital role in daily warehouse operations, ensuring the accurate handling, storage, and shipment of materials and products.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on position where safety, teamwork, and reliability are essential.
The schedule is a 12-hour rotational shift with 3 days on, 4 days off & 4 days on, 3 days off.

Job Responsibilities

1. Safely load, unload, and move products throughout the warehouse using forklifts and reach trucks
2. Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
3. Utilize scanning equipment for inventory control and order tracking
4. Accurately stock and replenish warehouse locations
5. Maintain clean, organized work areas and assist in routine housekeeping
6. Adhere to all company safety procedures and participate in ongoing safety training
7. Perform tasks at heights up to 25 feet while operating warehouse equipment
8. Support cross-functional warehouse areas (e.g., shipping, receiving, inventory control) as needed
9. Contribute to a team-focused, safety-driven environment
10. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
3. Forklift and reach truck driving experience required
4. Willing to complete forklift certification upon hire
5. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently; team lifts and equipment used for heavier items
6. Comfortable working at heights using appropriate safety equipment
7. Able to follow instructions, maintain safety protocols, and meet productivity standards
8. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment
9. Willing to work 12-hour shifts, rotating schedules, and overtime as needed

Physical Demands & Work Environment

1. Frequent standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and pulling
2. Regular exposure to warehouse conditions including temperature fluctuations and moderate noise
3. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel/composite toe boots (provided by employee)
4. Operation of industrial equipment in compliance with OSHA and company safety policies
