Job summary

Socket Fiber is hiring a Warehouse Associate for our on-site warehouse in Columbia, Missouri. You will help ensure inventory accuracy, organize materials, and prepare orders for pickup or shipment while supporting a safe, clean work environment.

You will work both indoors and outdoors, handling pallet jacks and rolling carts in varying conditions. This role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and physical stamina to meet daily operational needs.

Job description

Are you organized, dependable, and ready to play an important role in keeping daily operations moving? Do you enjoy hands‑on work and take pride in maintaining accurate inventory? If so, we’d love to have you join us as a Warehouse Associate at Socket Fiber.

In this role, you’ll help ensure inventory is accurate, organized, and prepared for construction and installation teams. You’ll receive and label incoming materials, prepare orders for pickup or shipment, inspect inventory, and help maintain a clean and safe warehouse. This position involves working both indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.

Location: This is an on‑site warehouse position located in Columbia, Missouri.

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by completing inventory counts and ensuring materials are properly documented.
  • Manage incoming inventory by receiving, labeling, and distributing materials.
  • Keep materials organized by storing inventory in an orderly and accessible manner.
  • Inspect inventory regularly to identify possible defects or damaged materials.
  • Process inventory requests by reviewing and appropriately accepting or rejecting requests.
  • Prepare outgoing materials by pulling needed items and preparing them for pickup or shipment.
  • Maintain a clean warehouse by sweeping and mopping floors and removing dust and debris from items and shelves.
  • Support safe operations by properly using pallet jacks, dollies, and wheeled carts.
  • Pitch in as needed and take on additional duties that support warehouse and company operations.
