Job summary

Medbio, LLC seeks a warehouse shipping and receiving operator to maintain organization and cleanliness in the facility while supporting inventory and production tasks. You will gather data to help analyze performance and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include receiving products, operating hi-lows and pallet jacks, and pulling/shipping items with care. Must have forklift experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; post-high school education as appropriate.
  • Minimum 2 years of Shipping and Receiving experience.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work with people at different levels.
  • Positive attitude for continued learning.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Forklift experience.

  • Operate hi-lows and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness and efficient use of warehouse space.
  • Assist with inventory control and reconcile physical inventories per schedule.
  • Provide production assistance including warehouse production as needed.
  • Follow all specifications and department procedures.
  • Communicate issues to management as needed; participate in objectives.
  • Collaborate with Operators and Support staff as a team.
  • Pull and stage product for shipping to customers and suppliers.
  • Prepare boxes for storage in the warehouse.

Job description

Function

Responsible to maintain organization, cleanliness and upkeep of warehouse, physical distribution, shipping and receiving, assistance with inventory management (raw materials, components, and finished goods), following safety practices and collection of data to analyze performance and continuous improvement.

Range of Responsibilities
  • Responsible to receive product and make appropriate determinations according to procedures and policies
  • Responsible to charge and operate all hi-lows and pallet jacks effectively, safely and accident free
  • Responsible to maintain organization, cleanliness, and efficient use of warehouse
  • Assist with inventory control and reconciling physical inventories per schedule
  • Assist as you can with production including warehouse production
  • Must follow all specifications and departmental procedures
  • Must understand department goals and objectives as well as participate in advancing them
  • Must be able to work as a team with other Operators and Support staff
  • Able to communicate effectively with all Medbio personnel
  • Conform to the culture, vision and mission of Medbio
  • Communicate to management any situation that may arise be it job specific, or employee related
  • Complete any task or special project that may be assigned to you
  • Pull and stage product shipping to customers and suppliers
  • Prepare boxes for storage in the warehouse

Physical Requirements

Must be able to work a standard 40-hour workweek with occasional overtime including weekends as a possibility. Sitting and/or standing for an extended period as well as some walking within the facility. Must be able to see with or without corrective lenses and distinguish color differences and depth perception for product and safety issues. Hearing ability should be sufficient to hear and react to audible alarms from distances up to 100 feet. The ability to lift and carry various items up to 70 pounds.
