Job summary

East Coast Tile Imports Of Syracuse is seeking an experienced warehouse associate to join our Syracuse, NY team. This full-time role is customer-facing in a warehouse setting, handling orders, loading and unloading, and keeping the workspace safe and organized.

You will work with our team to prepare orders, manage inventory, and assist customers with pickups, while complying with safety policies. We offer robust benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred, but not required; training available.
• Dependable, hard working, and organized.
• Alert, focused, and detail oriented.
• Able to meet the physical demands of the job (lifting, carrying, bending, pushing & pulling).

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with order pick-up; accurately prepare orders and complete sales paperwork.
• Load and unload bulky and heavy merchandise.
• Open crates and containers to identify and receive product.
• Place incoming product in assigned storage locations.
• Relocate product as required and according to a predetermined sequence.
• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counting.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with safety policies.
