Job summary

Chico Electric in Chico, CA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse tasks, receive and ship tools to job sites, and help with inventory and facility maintenance.

• Maintain warehouse inventory by stocking materials from vendors and returns.
• Provide material lists to keep inventory stocked.
• Assist with scheduling and completing maintenance on vehicles.
• Maintain Tool System for checkout, repairs, and purchases.
• Perform building/shop/yard maintenance and weekly inspections.

Department: Warehouse/Driver Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor

Salary Range: $17-$20 per hour, DOE

Hours: Full time; Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

Assist Warehouse Supervisor in daily warehouse tasks and functions including receiving, shipping of tools to job site’s, facility maintenance, vehicles maintenance, and inventory.

Essential Job Functions:

• Receiving requisitions from PA, pulling and staging materials
• Coordinate with Warehouse Supervisor to deliver materials and equipment to job sites.
• Receive all materials arriving at shop, new materials and returned job materials.
• Maintain warehouse inventory by properly stocking materials coming into warehouse from vendor or job material returns.
• Provide to PA material list to keep warehouse inventory stocked.
• Asist with scheduling and completing all Maintenance on vehicles.
• Maintain Tool System for check out, repairs, and purchases.
• Building/Shop/Yard Maintenance, including weekly inspections.

Essential Job Requirements:

Driving: Current, valid Driver License for State where you will drive, meet company auto insurance qualifications

Travel: Some

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: Warehouse, basic vehicle maintenance, coordinating, scheduling, and planning

Required skills: Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Forklift Operator

Physical Requirements:

Ability to climb ladders, lift 50 lbs, push, pull, balance, walk, stoop and handle material, and drive company vehicles
