Job summary

Misfits Market is hiring a Production Associate for our warehouse to ensure accurate, efficient order fulfillment in a temperature-controlled setting. You will select, pack, and ship items with attention to quality and freshness, using a finger scanner and WMS to locate products.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or move repetitively, and work overtime or weekends as needed. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this position in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Use a finger scanner and WMS interface to locate and select products from designated storage areas within the refrigerated warehouse.
• Safely and efficiently pack items, considering temperature-sensitive requirements for refrigerated products.
• Ensure picked items match customer orders and meet Misfits’ quality standards; use proper packaging to prevent damage or spoilage.
• Conduct regular quality checks on products to identify damages, discrepancies, or expiration issues.
• Work with teammates to achieve daily operational targets.
• Verify and maintain inventory levels within your bay and communicate with other teams for timely replenishment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and PPE guidelines in a food-based, refrigerated environment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace and complete safety training.
• Maintain knowledge of all production line areas, including box building and prepping.

How you’ll support our operations:

As a production associate in our warehouse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. Working in a temperature-controlled environment, you will be responsible for selecting, picking, and packing products with precision and attention to quality. This position requires a detail-oriented and reliable individual who can thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative team setting

What you’ll be doing:

• Utilize a finger scanner and our Warehouse Management System (WMS) interface to accurately locate and select products from designated storage areas within the refrigerated warehouse.


• Safely and efficiently pack selected items into appropriate packaging, considering temperature-sensitive requirements for refrigerated products.


• Ensure that all picked items match customer orders and meet Misfits’ quality standards. Use the appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage or spoliage during transportation.


• Conduct regular quality checks on products to identify any damages, discrepancies, or expiration issues.


• Work closely with team members to achieve daily operational targets.


• Verify and maintain inventory levels within your bay, communicating effectively with other teams to ensure timely replenishment and minimize disruptions.


• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in a food-based, refrigerated environment.


• Help us maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace. Complete all assigned safety training as required in a timely manner.


• Maintain functional knowledge in all areas of the production line, including box building and prepping.
