Misfits Market is a mission-driven, high-growth startup focused on reducing food waste by delivering affordable, sustainable groceries. As a Production Associate in our warehouse, you will pick, pack, and prepare orders in a temperature-controlled environment to ensure accuracy and quality.

You’ll use a finger scanner and WMS to locate items, verify orders, and maintain inventory while meeting daily targets. This role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to work in a refrigerated environment (36 degrees).
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and/or weekends if needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
• Ability to stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively.

Responsibilities

• Use a finger scanner and WMS to locate and select products in the refrigerated warehouse.
• Pack items with appropriate materials for temperature control.
• Verify items match customer orders and meet quality standards.
• Conduct regular quality checks for damages or expiration issues.
• Work with team to hit daily operational targets.
• Maintain bay inventory levels and coordinate with other teams for replenishment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE in a food-based, refrigerated environment.
• Complete safety training in a timely manner.
• Maintain knowledge of box building and prepping on the production line.

How You’ll Support Our Operations

As a production associate in our warehouse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. Working in a temperature-controlled environment, you will be responsible for selecting, picking, and packing products with precision and attention to quality. This position requires a detail-oriented and reliable individual who can thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative team setting.

  • Sunday - Thursday 5AM to 1:30PM
  • Saturday - Wednesday 5AM to 1:30PM
  • Friday - Tuesday 5AM to 1:30PM
• Also available for 2nd Shift
  • Sunday - Thursday 2PM to 10:30PM
  • Saturday - Wednesday 2PM to 10:30PM
  • Friday - Tuesday 2PM to 10:30PM

What You’ll Be Doing

• Utilize a finger scanner and our Warehouse Management System (WMS) interface to accurately locate and select products from designated storage areas within the refrigerated warehouse.
• Safely and efficiently pack selected items into appropriate packaging, considering temperature-sensitive requirements for refrigerated products.
• Ensure that all selected items match customer orders and meet Misfits’ quality standards. Use the appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage or spoliage during transportation.
• Conduct regular quality checks on products to identify any damages, discrepancies, or expiration issues.
• Work closely with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
• Verify and maintain inventory levels within your bay, communicating effectively with other teams to ensure timely replenishment and minimize disruptions.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in a food-based, refrigerated environment.
• Help us maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace. Complete all assigned safety training as required in a timely manner.
• Maintain functional knowledge in all areas of the production line, including box building and prepping.
