Job summary

PSG Global Solutions is seeking a warehouse associate in Chicago to handle, move, and organize boxes and materials in a non-climate controlled warehouse. You will use hand trucks, pallet jacks, and scanners to track inventory and prepare shipments.

The 9-hour shifts run 08:00AM–04:30PM, Monday to Friday, with emphasis on safety and accuracy. This temporary contract excludes health insurance, retirement plans, or paid time off during the period.

Responsibilities

• Handle, move, and organize boxes and materials weighing 10 to 100 lbs.
• Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and handheld scanners to track inventory.
• Read and process labels and documentation using internal systems.
• Load pallets and prepare boxes for outbound shipments.
• Navigate stairs, inclines, and various floor surfaces safely.
• Climb ladders and work in different physical positions (bending, kneeling, squatting).

Schedule: 08:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday to Friday, 9-hourshifts (includes 30-minute lunch + two 15-minute breaks)

What You’ll Do:

• Handle,move, and organize boxes and materials weighing 10 to 100 lbs.
• Operatehand trucks, pallet jacks, and handheld scanners to track inventory.
• Readand process labels and documentation using our internal systems.
• Loadpallets and prepare boxes for outbound shipments.
• Navigatestairs, inclines, and various floor surfaces safely.
• Climbladders and work in different physical positions (bending, kneeling,squatting, etc.).

Employment Note: This is a temporary/contract position with no benefits such as health insurance,retirement plans, or paid time off during the contract period.

What We’re Looking For:

• Comfortablelifting and carrying boxes up to 100 lbs. without assistance.
• Willingand able to walk, stand, bend, and twist for extended periods.
• Abilityto read and write in English.
• Experienceusing basic warehouse tools or willingness to learn (pallet jacks, carts,scanners).
• Safety-mindedand dependable, with attention to detail.

Work Environment & Requirements:

• You’llwork in a secure non-climate controlled warehouse handling stored files,books, and backup media.
• Thisis a physically demanding role requiring continuous movement and lifting.
• Protectivefootwear required: Must meet ASTM F2413-11 standards and be slip-resistant(rated Better or Best).
