Job summary

The Fountain Group in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Warehouse/Distribution Specialist for a 6-month onsite assignment. The role centers on GMP record-keeping for materials and products and ensuring correct labeling for couriers within scheduled timeframes.

Responsibilities include data entry for GXP documents and ERP transactions, inventory reconciliation, and safe handling of materials. A HS diploma and distribution experience in a regulated setting are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate or undergraduate degree preferred.
• 1+ year experience in distribution, warehousing or manufacturing in a regulated industry required.
• Hazardous shipping training preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems preferred.
• Knowledge of procurement/inventory management and site policies preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and site protocols.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely data entry for GXP documents and ERP transactions.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, storage and processing of goods with periodic inventory counts.
• Load and unload trucks using industrial equipment and transfer materials to storage areas.
• Inspect and verify material, labels and documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Support SOPs, scopes of work and training initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Operate radiation detection equipment as required and follow client values.

Job description

Job Details:

• Pay: $20.90-26.56/hr (based on experience) to Start!!
• Carlsbad, CA 92008.
• 6-month assignment, possibility for conversion/extension based on performance and budget.
• Wednesday-Saturday: 7:00am-7:00pm; (alternative 9:00am-9:00pm offered) (Onsite). Mandatory overtime may be necessary.
• Position will be mainly responsible for keeping GMP records of all materials and products received, stocked and shipped at the San Diego RLT warehouse facility,
• Position is also responsible for providing the correct finished goods to couriers inclusive of appropriate labeling within scheduled time frames, and in accordance with local site procedures and policies.
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurate and timely data entry for GXP documents and ERP transactions.
  • Coordination of shipping, receiving, storage, and processing of goods including but not limited to performing periodic inventory counts and reconciliation of discrepancies and staging of material for production purposes.
  • Load and unload trucks using industrial equipment and transfer of material to proper storage areas.
  • Inspect and verify material, labels and documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Actively participate and support all site and team projects and initiatives, including cross functional team projects to create Standard Operating Procedures, Scopes of Work, Training and other tasks.
  • Ability to operate all applicable radiation detection equipment.
  • Act in accordance with Client values and behaviors.
  • Complete applicable required job specific training, cGMP, HS&E, Dangerous Goods, etc.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED is Required!
• Associate’s or undergraduate degree in business or science related field is Preferred!
• 1+ experience in Distribution, Warehousing, Manufacturing in a regulated industry is Required!
• Hazardous shipping training is Preferred!
• Proficiency of computer skills and MS Office is Preferred!
• Knowledge of procurement/inventory management systems and procedures is Preferred!
• Ability to perform duties with the highest regard for safety, quality, and site protocols/policies/procedures is Required!
