Responsibilities

• Unload delivery trucks and ensure timely and friendly service to customers and installers.
• Perform inventory control and inspect materials for damage.
• Verify that all merchandise loaded on trucks matches the product for each job.
• Tag and store incoming materials and label initial quantity of merchandise.
• Cut stock rolls and pad, and stage materials for installers.
• Load trucks for installers and monitor emails for store transfers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.

Job description

Pierce Flooring Wholesale Direct, a family-owned business with a century-long legacy, is seeking a reliable and team-oriented Warehouse Associate. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, from deliveries and vendor pick-ups to inventory control. This position offers the opportunity to learn about the flooring industry and our specialized software. A valid driver's license is required, and while forklift experience is beneficial, we are willing to provide training.

This is a physical, fast paced and busy work environment. The schedule is alternating long and short weeks. The long week is Monday-Saturday 7:30- 4:00, and 9:00-5:00 on Saturday. The short week is 7:30-6:00 with a 3 day weekend.

Compensation

18.00-20.00/hour DOE.
