Job Description: Warehouse Associate in Last Mile at RXO

As a Warehouse Associate in Last Mile at RXO, you will play a vital role in ensuring freight reaches its destination. You will work with a top management team experienced in the transportation industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing orders to sales associates for processing.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and shipped.
• Maintain a safe and accessible warehouse environment for employees and customers.
• Complete work safely, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
• Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed.
• Coordinate with drivers via check calls to ensure timely deliveries; validate load data prior to marking loads as delivered for accounting purposes.
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, verifying that loads arrive on time and in good condition.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Availability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
• Experience in a dock or warehouse setting within the transportation industry
• Experience loading and unloading trailers
• Experience using handheld scanners
• The ability to understand and carry out instructions in written, verbal, or diagram form

This role requires physical ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds and to load and unload trucks.
