Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. Boise, ID is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver to stock, organize and manage inventory while fulfilling customer orders. You will load/unload trucks, assist with order entry, and support shipping and receiving daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
• Have valid driver2s license and ability to obtain DOT medical card.
• High school diploma or combination of work experience and education.
• Experience in a distribution, fulfillment or warehouse environment.
• Forklift Certification preferred (training and certification can be obtained after hire through company training).
• Able to pass drug screen, driving screening and background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Stock and organize products safely and accurately.
• Assist customers by phone and in person and enter orders.
• Prepare customer orders for pick-up, UPS shipment or delivery.
• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Count and verify inventory.
• Rotate stock and report damaged or missing items.
• Support cycle counts and other inventory checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.
• Backup driver for non-regulated vehicle.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Handle freight up to 75 pounds continuously.
• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks as needed.

The Warehouse Associate/ Backup Driver is responsible for accurately and safely stocking, organizing, and managing warehouse inventory, fulfilling customer orders, and supporting daily shipping and receiving of orders.
