Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver to stock, organize, and manage warehouse inventory and fulfill customer orders at our Boise facility. You will assist with shipping/receiving, load/unload trucks, and maintain a safe, efficient workspace.

The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, a valid driver’s license with DOT medical card, and prior warehouse experience. Forklift certification is preferred; background/drug screens are required.

Qualifications

• Able to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
• Must pass drug screen and background checks.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT medical card.
• High school diploma or equivalent or combination of work experience and education.
• Experience in a distribution, fulfillment or warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification preferred (training and certification can be obtained after hire).
• Experience with order processing and inventory management.

The Warehouse Associate/ Backup Driver is responsible for accurately and safely stocking, organizing, and managing warehouse inventory, fulfilling customer orders, and supporting daily shipping and receiving of orders. This role ensures materials are handled efficiently and safely to support timely customer deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock and organize products safely and accurately.
• Assist customers on the phone and in person which often involves order entry into Agility.
• Pull and prepare customer orders for pick-up, UPS shipment or delivery.
• Load and unload the delivery trucks.
• Count and verify incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Rotate stock and report any damaged or missing items.
• Assist with cycle counts and other forms of physical inventory verification as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow company safety guidelines and procedures.
• Backup driver for non-regulated vehicle.
• Ability to lift-handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds continuously through workday.
• Ability to stay in motion much of the workday often in areas that are not climate controlled.
• Ability to move heavy products in busy warehouses and/or outdoor yards, using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, and involves active physical work.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required.
