Job summary

Professional Plastics is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our growing team in Belvidere, IL. The role involves handling inbound and outbound material, inspecting products, and maintaining organized inventory.

You will support customers and ensure orders are packed and shipped accurately. Candidates should have 1–3 years of warehouse experience, proficiency with standard warehouse equipment, and a valid forklift operation capability.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years' experience in a warehouse role.

Responsibilities

Professional Plastics is hiring an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. If you have warehouse experience in a manufacturing and production environment, we want to talk to you.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Include the following, as well as other duties that may be assigned.

• Inspect products for damages; report as needed
• Identify and store material accordingly
• Receive, unload and appropriately sort and store incoming shipments.
• Pull, stage and package material for shipment; process, pack, and ship orders accurately
• Maintain inventory of products; restock as needed
• Assist all will-call and walk-in customers
• Operate saw to cut materials to specified dimensions
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment; notify management of any issues or concerns
• "Reach Truck" experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficiency in standard office and warehouse equipment
• Knowledge of warehouse functions and processes
• Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks
• Ability to skillfully and safely operate a forklift
• Good working knowledge of warehouse data systems
• Solid communication skills and inventory skills

Education and Experience:

(Required and preferred educational and experiential qualifications)
