Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply Cleveland Distribution Center in Bedford Heights, OH is seeking a Warehouse Team Member to support unloading, picking and loading at the Cleveland distribution site.

You will work the schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM until the work is done, with competitive pay and benefits that reflect care for our team members.

Qualifications

• Lift up to 65 pounds per case; occasional machine-assisted moves up to 2,000 pounds.
• Work in extreme temperatures (-10F to 100F), including freezer shifts.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write and speak English to safely perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Unload, stage, pick and load products.
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks; keep the warehouse clean and safe.
• Communicate with care with teammates and contacts.

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Associate, you are a key driver in the efficiency, organization, and cleanliness of the warehouse.

• Efficiency and Organization: You’ll be on your feet, actively engaging with unloading, staging, picking and loading products.
• Safety First: Safely operating machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks and keeping our warehouse clean and safe.
• Communication and Care: Connecting with care with everyone you come in contact with.

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

• Extreme Temperature: Working in rotation through extreme temperatures(-10F to 100F) is required to keep our food safe! Will work in freezer environment 1-2 shifts per week.
• Heavy Weights: Reach, bend, and stoop while lifting up to 65 pounds per case during most of your shift. Occasionally you will use mechanical assistance to move up to 2,000 pounds.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to understand and communicate job-related information in English (reading, writing, and speaking) at the level reasonably necessary to safely and accurately perform the essential functions of the role, including, for example, understanding and safely following verbal instructions, completing documentation and work responsibilities, and accurately reading and interpreting company communications and policies like safety procedures, training, and tests

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

• Working in a warehouse and/or material handling is preferred but not required, and previous work in food distribution is a plus
