East Coast Warehouse & Distribution Corp. in Houston is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive palletized freight, store it in racks, and manage order fulfillment. The role emphasizes safe operation of material handling equipment and adherence to safety standards.

The position runs 8am to 5pm, is full-time, and pays $20.00 per hour. Candidates should be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.

Description

This position is responsible for receiving palletized freight, putting it away in rack and shaping the same. Majority of the time is spent on Material Handling equipment. Occasional lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds.

• Load and unload trucks.
• Prepares order to picked up by either customers or trucking companies.
• Pick orders.
• Label boxes.

• Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.

DEPENDING ON LOCATION YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE ON SEAT-DOWN FORKLIFT, DEEP REACH, AND PALLET JACK!
