Job summary

SURESTAFF is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Batavia, IL to join a fast-paced distribution team. You will handle shipping/receiving, pick/pack, QA, and inventory control with RF scanners.

Shifts: 1st 6:30am-2:30pm, 2nd 2:30pm-10:30pm, 3rd 10:30pm-6:30am. Pay is $16-$17/hour with benefits including health, dental, and vision. Temp-to-hire opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pull, and prepare orders while keeping shipping/receiving area organized and efficient.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments.
• Load and unload pallets.
• Scan items into inventory using RF Scanner.
• Safely use warehouse equipment including pallet jack, hydraulic jack, RF Scanner, computers, and handheld printers.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance and report unsafe conditions.

Job description

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Warehouse Associates for a large, well-known client in Batavia, IL.

As a Warehouse Associate for SURESTAFF, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including: Shipping & Receiving (Picker / Packer), Quality Assurance, Inventory Control (RF Scanners).

SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($16-17/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).

Available shifts include:

• -1st shift, 6:30am-2:30pm-2nd shift, 2:30pm-10:30pm-3rd shift, 10:30pm-6:30am

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate:

• Pick, pull, and prepare orders while maintaining an organized shipping and receiving area.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments.
• Load and unload pallets.
• Scan items into inventory control system using RF Scanner.
• Safely & efficiently use warehouse equipment including pallet jack, hydraulic jack, RF Scanner, computers, and handheld printers.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties and report any unsafe work area conditions.

Required Qualifications of the Warehouse Associate:

• Previous warehouse experience and/or training preferred.
• High attention to detail and safety/compliance.
• Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
