Job summary

Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to support shipping and receiving for an electrical distribution company. You will pick orders with RF scanners, stock inventory, and operate forklifts.

This temporary-to-hire role in Austin offers a consistent day shift, paid hourly at $19, and opportunities to transition based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience including stocking, picking, shipping or receiving.
• RF scanner experience is required.
• Forklift experience with both stand-up and sit-down preferred.
• Experience in electrical distribution industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pull customer orders using an RF scanner.
• Transport completed orders to the shipping department for verification.
• Receive, check, and stock incoming materials.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory organization, and general warehouse operations.
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move materials safely.
• Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed.

Position Overview

Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to support shipping and receiving operations for an electrical distribution company. The ideal candidate will have experience with order selection, RF scanners, inventory stocking, and both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.

Compensation and Working Hours

• Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with overtime available as needed
• Employment Type: Temporary-to-Hire for the right candidate
• Interview Required: Yes
• Required PPE: Steel-toe boots

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and pull customer orders using an RF scanner.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work overtime as needed to complete daily assignments.
• Must have and wear steel-toe boots.
