Position Details

Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has immediate openings for Warehouse Associate on our 1st shift at our climate-controlled distribution facility in Ashland, VA. In this role, you will learn various materials handler tasks and be a key part of the Operations team. You will have the opportunity to rotate through multiple departments, gaining exposure to the equipment, processes, and technologies used in our operations. Responsibilities

• Become certified to operate Powered Industrial Equipment (e.g., electric pallet riders, order pickers, forklifts).
• Use RF technology for distribution tasks such as picking, packing, shipping, receiving, put-away, and stock replenishment.
• Deliver materials promptly to production lines.
• Learn and use our inventory management system and process transactions.
• Collaborate with supply chain and distribution teams to process customer orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on our 1st shift (Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm).
• Experience operating Powered Industrial Equipment.
• Desire to learn additional warehouse equipment.
• Preferred: 1 year shipping or receiving experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Willingness for continuous learning.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move between workstations.
• Ability to read and follow instructions in English.
• Commitment to safety and PPE usage.
